As you may or
may not know there was a working bee last Sunday to repair the diamonds at
Cowan Road grounds. Nobody from our club attended so the North Shore committee
has decreed that St Ives, as one of the biggest clubs, is now responsible for
the repairs to diamond 6.
If we can have
as many volunteers as possible for a couple of hours this Sunday from 9am we
will knock over this chore and re-instate our normal community spirited
reputation. Please don’t leave this up to all the usual people, most of who are
already working hard to get the season up and running.
Well done to all of the Premieres for the 2009 season.
